Week 2: RESULTS

Today, April 26 2011, is the 100th anniversary of my grandmother, Dorothy Smith Clark's birth. My daughter and I honored her memory by doing baptisms for the dead at the temple this morning (plus we got 5 points!) What a great way to start the day.

Here are the survey results from the second week. What do they mean to you? How are you doing as an individual? How are we doing as a group? The only question that I'd like to see some improvement on is the amount of effort put into the challenge. The response with the highest percentage is the level 2 effort.

9And he said unto me, My agrace is sufficient for thee: for mybstrength is made perfect in cweakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ maydrest upon me.
10Therefore I take pleasure in ainfirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in bpersecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am cweak, then am I dstrong.
When we are weak, the hope is that we will turn to the Savior for help. As we do this, we are able to see His hand in our lives as his perfection fills in all the gaps of our imperfection. This is truly a great blessing to allow Christ to help our weaknesses become our strengths and is why Paul says "I rather glory in my infirmities." If it's important to you to become More Fit For The Kingdom, then it is important to Christ. Let Him help you that you may see how strong you can be as a team. Our Father in Heaven does not want us to try and become perfect on our own, we must rely on the grace of the Savior. That's why we have the atonement, to access it's power every single day.
True strength is the ability to see our weaknesses, the humility to ask for help, and willingness to follow the promptings we receive.
